The 13 "Palestinian" Arabs who were arrested have been taken in for questioning as they are in Israel illegally but their vehicle did not contain any explosives or weapons.

They are still suspected of something related to terror but will only be known after an interrogation

Following up from the big arrest operation on highway 6 today, here is a joint Statement from the Israel Security Agency, IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, and Israel Police Spokesperson’s Unit:

It has been cleared for publication that, in a coordinated operation involving the Shin Bet, IDF, and Israel Police, three individuals from the village of Bani Naim near Hebron have been arrested for planning an imminent attack.

One suspect was apprehended this afternoon on Highway 6 during a swift operation by Shin Bet and Israel Police forces and has been transferred to the Shin Bet for interrogation.

Following questioning of the suspect, two additional members of the cell were arrested at their homes. A search revealed weapons intended for use in the planned attack.

The three individuals are now in Shin Bet custody for further investigation
