The soldiers of the Paratroopers Brigade combat team have expanded their combat operations and are now fighting in the Al Amal area of the city of Khan Yunis. The soldiers are operating in dense, urban areas and encountering and eliminating terrorists in close-quarters combat, conducting targeted raids on terrorist infrastructure, and locating and destroying weapons, mortars and rockets.

This is the Golani Brigade commander, who's voice choked up tonight as he appointed the replacement to the highly respected fallen Golani commander, Lt. Col. Tomer Grinberg, who fell in Gaza in December.

I didn't get a chance to honor this Israeli Bedouin Arab hero named Amer Abu Sabila, who on October 7th gave his life attempting to save the lives of 2 young Jewish girls aged 6 & 3 of the Swissa family.
The parents were both shot dead in the car and Amer attempted to replace the dead father by moving their car out of the firing line. He was shot dead by Hamas while trying.

However don't be naive in thinking they therefore support Israel, they do not. Their lives are just so bad right now thanks to Hamas that they are saying this but if Hamas won against Israel they would still be praising them like they did on October 7th.
Protesting against Hamas does not equate to supports Israel or wants peace with Israel. They will continue to hate Israel as Hamas didn't make them hate Israel to begin with, they hated Israel decades before Hamas existed.

As part of recent training programs for reservist battalions on the northern front, soldiers of the Northern Paratroopers Brigade (226) and Combat Engineering forces performed training exercises. The exercises prepared troops for combat in densely populated urban areas, winter weather conditions, and in the northern terrain.
