IDF soldiers of the 87th Battalion in the north of the Gaza Strip after a hard day

Baruch Dayan HaEmet

This was Cpt (res.) Rebecca Henrietta Johanna Baruch, a lone soldier from the Netherlands. When the war broke out she was abroad but decided to cancel her trip and return to fight in the war.

She died from an infection she contracted while serving in the war effort.

She immigrated to Israel to enlist in the IDF in the Combat Intelligence Collection Corps and eventually became an officer. She then became a commander in the unit.

May her memory be for a blessing.

An Israeli Air Force jet over Gaza this morning

A spontaneous protest started up at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Hospital in Gaza as citizens are expressing their anger at the situation they are in, demanding that Hamas return the Israeli hostages and to stop the war.

Wow Israeli President Herzog sang the religious song "Ani Maamin (I believe" with the students of the Hesder Yeshiva Yeruham who lost eight members in the war.

A big thank you to the donor who I secured from South Africa for providing equipment for the elite IDF Yahalom unit which will be used for an amazing war-zone project they are working on. This will help to speed up the efforts required to locate both terrorists and hostages in Gaza.

The donor, who wants to remain anonymous, responded immediately to this, without hesitation and a few days after discussions, someone was on a flight to Israel to personally deliver what was needed. Amazing people!

IDF combat soldiers in Gaza found this 75 year-old woman with her arms tied together & not in good health.

She told them her family fled south & 2 Hamas members in IDF uniform tied her to the bed and told her to say that the IDF did it.

She was in this situation for 2 days.

Over the last week, the soldiers of the 646th Reserve Brigade, which operates under the 99th Division in the central Gaza Strip, along with special forces of the Yahalom Unit, located a tunnel that connects between the north and the south of the Strip. The tunnel is located one and a half kilometers from the border with Israel. The tunnel is approximately one kilometer in length and 20 meters in depth. The underground route was investigated and dismantled by the engineering battalion and in cooperation with the Yahalom Unit.
