This disabled man is called Igor Lagorka, he is literally a hero of Israel.

He was an IDF lone soldier after immigrating to Israel and he didnt receive an order to go to reserve duty but he requested to be called up for duty in Gaza where he was injured and lost one of his legs.

Yesterday he went to the graduation ceremony of the 6828th Battalion at the Western wall in Jerusalem.

Just found out that the husband of a woman I knew when I made aliyah was critically injured in the war in Gaza and needs our prayers. We both made aliyah around the same time and stayed in the same merkaz klitah in Ra'anana.
