Look at the serious restraint on our IDF soldiers. This soldier was attacked by an Arab civilian in Jamma'in and if not for the restraint of the soldier, he would have been shot.

People love to claim we just kill Arabs at will but they ignore the restraint of shooting until the last moment. In the end the guy walked away.

The IDF combat soldiers of the Nahal reserve battalion 5030, who are protecting the country by the Lebanon border, finally got a chance to get away for a bit and make a video saying thanks to myself and Alexander Dietze for the military rain suits we arranged for them.

My high school friend, Marc Washkansky, is in this battalion.

Here he is seen doing the Friday night kiddush prayers for the soldiers in his APC for Shabbat in Gaza. He was doing 2 mitzvot before his death, one was defending his people and the other doing the kiddush.

This IDF soldier's wife gave birth but he is fighting in the war in Gaza, so a sefer Torah was brought to him today so he could have an aliyah to the Torah and announce his new born daughter's name while getting a blessing.

Mazal tov!!

A friend and I just got back from the funeral of fallen IDF combat soldier of the Yahalom unit, Master Sgt. (res.) Tal Filiba.

Famous Israeli singer, Hanan Ben Ari sang at the funeral near the end of the video.

As we left the funeral we found out that another soldier was killed and is from the same city.
