I just read about this fallen IDF hero now named Tomer Nagar z"l who was killed in action on October 7th during the Hamas massacre.

He was Israeli hero who refused to leave his position during the massacre and he was alone. He fired 650 bullets and eliminated dozens of terrorists all by himself and prevented an infiltration of the Kissufim outpost. His friends testified that he saved the outpost.
