Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today, for the second time since the outbreak of war, with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem.

He was thanked for his friendship and support that is helping Israel in these trying times.

IDF releases new information on the operations of the 252nd Reserve Division in the Gaza Strip during Israel’s ground offensive which began late last month.

With the 252nd Division fighting in Gaza, it marks the first time since the 1982 First Lebanon War that an entire IDF reserve division is maneuvering in enemy territory.

The IDF says that in recent days the division captured the Beit Hanoun area in northern Gaza, while engaging in battles with Hamas operatives and demolishing the terror group’s infrastructure, including tunnels.

It says that since the beginning of the fighting, the 252nd Division has killed hundreds of Hamas operatives, including senior members, in Beit Hanoun and Jabaliya.

The division’s forces also destroyed Hamas compounds, launch positions, and tunnel networks, among some 300 targets that were struck in the last week, according to the IDF.

The Brazilian security services, together with the Mossad and its partners in the Israeli security community, alongside additional international security and enforcement agencies, have foiled a terrorist attack in Brazil, which had been planned by the Hezbollah terrorist organization, directed and financed by the Iranian regime. This was an extensive network that operated in additional countries.

The Mossad thanks the Brazilian security services for the arrest of a terrorist cell that was operated by Hezbollah in order to carry out an attack on Israeli and Jewish targets in Brazil.

Given the backdrop of the war in Gaza against the Hamas terrorist organization, Hezbollah and the Iranian regime are continuing to operate around the world in order to attack Israeli, Jewish and Western targets.

The Mossad is working, and will continue to work, to thwart these efforts wherever necessary, by various methods.

This was 29 year old Master Sgt. (res.) Eliahou Benjamin Elmakayes, a soldier of the Combat Engineering Corp's 8219th Battalion from Jerusalem.

He was killed in action in Gaza yesterday.
