Pretty good criticism of Paddy Cosgrove (co-founder of Web Summit)
While I don't agree with every part of this video, his general message is quite clear and very well made.
It's just a pity that they couldn't spend a little more time spell checking their subtitles. 🤦♂

A touching thing that left wing atheistic Israeli author, Omer Barak, wrote after the Hamas massare.
He said that he was raised by a family who were anti-Judaism, yes many Ashkenazim in Israel have this unfortunately, and that he was even ashamed to call himself a Jew. He always referred to himself only as an Israeli & he hated the word Jew & said there was nothing Jewish in him.
Since the Hamas massacre he got a big wake up call & he now realises that he cannot escape from who he is, a Jew. So for the first time in his entire life he and his kids lit Shabbat candles. He didnt have a clue what prayer to say so they said the prayer for lighting Channukah candles but its the intention that matters.
He now says he is proud of being Jewish and ashamed that he denied it. He says he will not wear a kippah now nor does he think he will see himself in a synagogue but he will try find Judaism, he will seek God.
He now refers to himself as an author, reporter, Israeli and a Jew!
Kol Hakavod brother, baby steps!
