How do you know that you are living in a safe country?

When you can store your beers outside your apartment in an empty closet that is not locked and nobody steals it.

I actually had this whole thing full of beers at some point, I see somebody replaced it with water 😂

I actually often forget to lock the front door at night when we go to sleep and sometimes left the keys in the door and also left my car unlocked and nothing has ever happened over many many years. I have lived in other countries before and that's not possible.

When my parents used to live here in the 1970s that was the norm everywhere here, people even left the keys in the car on purpose. Look I'm not saying it's perfect everywhere like this but in most places it is for sure and especially comparing to other countries.

Israel is the place to be.

This is my Afghan friend Wais Habib who escaped Afghanistan by the skin of his teeth after the Taliban took over.

He used to work for the US military as an engineer when the US were in Afghanistan (pics included). He worked as a safety manager for 9 years for the US Army Engineering corps in Afghanistan, risking his life too and even got death threats from the Taliban for it. This guy is a solid patriot and a big supporter of Israel!

After my attempt to get him out safely using Israeli contacts failed, he was assisted by Steven Shalowitz of the JNF and is now living as a refugee in Alberta Canada.

This is great.

In the 1st video is Israeli TV host / musician named Guy Zu-Aretz who played the song Shalom Aleichem, which we sing on Friday night for Shabbat. . It is beautiful.

In the 2nd video, my friend Yoni Sharon, who has a character named Abu Tableh made his own version of the same song in response but his is in Arabic. Yoni is fluent in Arabic and lives in the Shomron. He is also religious.

Today in Tel Aviv there was a terrorist shooting attack.

The terrorist was heading toward a busy area with cafes & restaurants when 2 city security guards patrolling on motorcycles noticed him behaving suspiciously. When they questioned him, he didnt make eye contact so they approached him & the terrorist then shot one of the guards in the head, while the other guard shot the terrorist, who died later.

Unfortunately the security guard also died after being in a critical condition. He saved the lives of many people who could have been murdered today. His name was Chen Amir.
