Kol HaKavod to my Bedouin friend, Hasib Joamis, who is an IDF combat soldier in the Bedouin Reconnaissance Unit (The Desert Reconnaissance Battalion - 585th Regiment), for having the honor once again of leading the pack for the Masa Kumta (beret march) for this unit which started late last night and is ongoing still this morning.
I also see that IDF veteran and Christian Arab, Yoseph Haddad, has also joined the beret march as a guest and after interviewing some of the guys he said the following: "I joined them on their beret march, we talked and I heard from them how proud they are to serve in the army and to contribute to the country and be an integral part of Israel."
Amazing stuff!

Earlier today I posted about my Bedouin friend, Hasib Joamis, who is an IDF combat soldier in the Bedouin Reconnaissance Unit that lead the Masa Kumta (beret march) for this unit.
Well this was after the beret march was completed which started in Zarzir and continued to Bir El Maksor, Kaabia, Kfar Manda and then ended by the monument of the Bedouin warrior...these fierce and fearless Bedouin IDF warriors marched about 32 kilometers and finally got to receive their purple beret.
I can tell you one thing for sure, our Arab, Druze and Bedouin IDF combat soldiers are possibly the most dedicated and fearless IDF soldiers of all, they are on another level. They deserve great respect!
Kol HaKavod!!!

Today there was a terrorist attack on a car which had the National Activist coordinator, Shai Rosengarten and Ariel University Coordinator, Amichai Pesin, of the right wing Zionist organization Im Tirtzu in it.
This act of attempted murder occurred while they were driving to Hebron to join an Im Tirtzu tour in the city.
One of them was injured in the shoulder, another was slightly injured by shrapnel after the windshield was shattered.
The activists were on their way to Hebron to hand out things to the soldiers and to join a tour that was hosted by this movement.
Thank God they are alive and well but I know for sure they are not phased nor deterred by this at all and stand strong in their convictions.
Kol HaKavod to Im Tirtzu!!
