This is Lavi, the Jerusalem Municipality security guard who is the hero of the day after he shot a terrorist a minute before she boarded the light rail in Jerusalem with a knife.

He suspected something about her and then she pulled a knife out of her bag and almost stabbed him but he fired a shot into the air and when she did not stop, he shot her in the leg (as per protocol).

The terrorist is a 50-year-old mother of five with Israeli citizenship and is a resident of Pisgat Ze'ev.
