He mentioned that he was shot at point blank range by a terrorist who drove past his car while he was stopped. The terrorist shot him with an M-16 and it is a miracle that he didnt get killed from this.

If you look closely, he has 2 different weapons in the same scene. The first is a Carlo type weapon and the 2nd is a M4 rifle.
