A very touching story that finally got closure.
During the 1977 IDF operation called "Operation Brothers" which was to bring the Jews of Ethiopia to Israel, Ruthi Ngusa fell into the sea & started drowning. IDF Navy reservist, Danny Peleg, jumped in and saved her life. There is a pic of them together in the boat after saving her life. She never saw him again.
After many years, her daughter, Aviva Ngosa, found him & arranged for an exciting meeting. Ruthi said "All my life I wanted to find the one who saved me when the waves threw me into the sea. Someone else might not have risked himself to save me. I didn't know how to find him, because I didn't have a name or a picture. When we met I was very excited, I hugged him and told him thank you for saving me, look what children I have thanks to you"
