IDF and police units entered Jenin this morning to re-arrest a previously released terrorist. Our forces were met with the usual resistance.

I took a ride this morning before work to the river by the Mamluk bridge. This bridge is over 400 years old from when the Mamlukim invaded and ruled here before the Ottomans.

Are you interested in hearing 2 sides to the topic of the Israeli judicial reform?
Here is a debate between 2 people who are very knowledgable on the topic, right wing Knesset member Simcha Rothman and left wing Professor Yaniv Roznai.
The debate was hosted by the Jewish Journal and moderated by columnist Shmuel Rosner. I attended the live debate.

Both sides make excellent points, the only difference for me and many others is that we are well aware of the real intention behind the left wing's negative reaction to this reform, even though their leaders also originally signed on this reform in 2015.
So everything you hear in this debate from Professor Yaniv Roznai might be factual and does make sense on paper but in reality the intention is being left out and that is that the Left do not want right wing, religious and Mizrachi Jews to have control of the country and courts, this is their own internal anti-religious / racist battle, unrelated to anything being said in this debate or in the protests. They are outright lying to the people and the world about things the Right have never said or never even hinted and that all goes unchecked, including talk of civil war and assassination of our prime minister, as if this is a normal way to behave.

βI beg you, my friends, and our friends from around the world: Donβt read the news. Read the bill. Read whatβs in this law,β
MK Simcha Rothman (Religious Zionist Party), the head of the Knesset Constitution Committee, gave a speech at the Knesset plenum on Monday night, before the approval in the first reading of the bills related to the judicial reform.
During the speech, Rothman took a few moments to speak in English and directly appealed to the Jews of the Diaspora, urging them not to rely on what is said in the media about the judicial reform, but rather to read the legislation itself.
