The IDF medical delegation began providing medical care at a local hospital in the city of Kahramanmaraş in Turkey today.

The delegation assisted in the reopening of a local hospital after it was abandoned during the earthquake, and will now provide medical treatment to victims in the area.

Utilizing medical equipment and devices that were sent from Israel, members of the delegation used the hospital’s emergency medical department and intensive care and operating rooms.

The medical teams that operate in the hospital consist of approximately 140 doctors and nurses, a pharmacist, an X-ray technician, a laboratory technician, paramedics and medical logistics personnel.

The head of the Antakya Jewish community in Turkey, Saul Cenudioglu and his wife Fortuna, were found dead by the Israeli delegation who was sent to find them also. They were found dead in the ruins of their home yesterday and their bodies were retrieved at about 4am. Their bodies have been transferred by Zaka to the family.

There was a terrorist attack now in Ramot in Jerusalem. 2 are dead, 5 people are injured and 2 were children. A 6 year old child is dead and another is in a critical condition. The other dead is a 20 year old.
