Rabbi Marcus Solomon was formally sworn-in as a judge of the Perth Supreme Court of Western Australia. He is the first Orthodox rabbi appointed to an Australian Supreme Court.
During his swearing in, he recited part of the Shehechianu blessing which Jews say when celebrating special occassions. The blessing is recorded in the Talmud, indicating that it has been recited for over 1500 years.
Well done to you Rabbi!

Went to Rosh Pina yesterday, north Israel...the old city of Rosh Pina is amazing...
In 1882, thirty Jewish families who had immigrated from Romania reestablished the settlement as a moshavah called Rosh Pinna. The town is one of the oldest Zionist settlements in Israel.
