This is truly heartbreaking. This is the father of the critically wounded Magav soldier, Barel Shmueli Ben Nitza, who was shot in the head yesterday by a terrorist from Gaza.
His dad said: "He is in a very bad situation....he is my only child, I ask of you the Nation of Israel for prayers, prayers, prayers and more prayers...so he will survive, no more than that."

Today a 16 year old terrorist arrived at a checkpoint in the Jewish community of Hebron with a knife.
An IDF force noticed his suspicious behaviour and apprehended him and was arrested on the spot.

Chabad of Long Beach was vandalized and a Sefer Torah was stolen.
One of the congregants went to the Shul around 11:30pm Motzei Shabbos to ensure everything was secure. What he found was a nightmare.
“I found our beautifully renovated sanctuary vandalized, talleisim strewn on the floor, the holy ark broken off the hinges and a number of holy Torah’s stolen with two lying on the ground. Most of the sliver crowns were missing as well.”
911 was called immediately and detectives, together with Crimes scene unit from Nassau County, are investigating.

Today is Avera Mengistu's birthday, the Israeli man of Ethiopian descent who has mental problems and who crossed into Gaza on September 7, 2014 and is being held captive (dead or alive) by Hamas.
His mother gave a very tearful prayer in Amharit (Ethiopian language) for her son who has been in Gaza for 7 years now.
This is the prayer for him: "If you are alive, have good luck wherever you are. Until we meet, I wish you to be happy and have happiness. See you soon and next year we will celebrate at your house with everyone. Seven years without you is not easy. Every Rosh Hashanah I am waiting for you to come back."

Soldiers from the southern Border Police's undercover unit sang a prayer song at the bedside of Barel Shmueli, the Magav sniper who was critically wounded by a gunshot to the head on Saturday.
Border guard fighters all over the country are praying for his healing and strengthening his family and unit members.

Famous Israeli singer, Omer Adam, dedicated a moment of his concert tonight in Jerusalem to pray for the Magav soldier who is critically injured from a gunshot to the head on Saturday.
He asked the crowd to sing Shir La'Maalot (from Psalms 121) together with him and it was streamed to the family of the injured soldier in the hospital.
I love this artist so much and this is why.
