Today is the commemoration of the expulsion of Jews from Muslim lands.

Today we remember more than 850,000 Jews who fled or were expelled from Muslim countries.

On June 23, 2014 the Knesset, under Bibi Netanyahu, adopted a law which designates November 30th as an annual, national day of commemoration.

Jews had lived in the Arab lands for thousands of years, and many of their communities preceded the advent of Islam. But in the 20th century, with the rise of Arab nationalism and the conflict in Palestine, the new Arab regimes began a campaign of massive violations of the rights of their Jewish citizens. Arab states expropriated property of their native Jews, and denaturalized, expelled, arrested, tortured and murdered many of them.

Earlier I posted that Netflix is going to premier an anti-Israeli movie made by Jew haters from Jordan, well this movie is being screened tonight in Yaffo (Tel Aviv).

Shai Glick, who is the CEO of Betzalmo, is there protesting along with some Knesset members against this blood libel of a movie that compares Israeli soldiers to Nazis during the 1948 Israeli war of Independence.
