For those who don't believe me that it is 100% ok under halacha (Jewish law) for a Jew to pray inside a mosque (but not inside a church), well there is nothing better than showing it via a video.

This mosque is in Dearborn, Michigan in the United States.

I assume there are good relations between Jews and Muslims in this city which is why he feels comfortable to pray there. Good luck trying that in a mosque in Israel.

Famous Israeli Hassidic singer, Motty Steinmetz, who blew everyone away with his incredible vocals in the song he sang with Yishai Ribo called Nafshi (link below), opens up about his childhood and how he believes that the powerful spiritual emotions of his father influenced him to be who he is today.

I included an incredible version of Avinu Malkeinu that he sung live, wow what a voice!

Here is the link to his hit song Nafshi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6hnYAEUV2M

Baruch Dayan Ha'Emet

This was 63 year old Shalom Sofer who was stabbed in the stomach by an Arab in a "Palestinian" Arab place called Al Funduq 2 weeks ago.

He lived in Kedumim, Samaria and was known to be an amazing caring member of the Jewish community there. He went to buy something from a store in that area and when he was leaving he was stabbed.

May his memory be for a blessing and may Hashem avenge his blood.

Another update on David Morel, the security guard who was shot in the head by the terrorist who killed IDF soldier Noa Lazar a few weeks ago at the Shuafat checkpoint.

This morning he was transferred out of intensive care and to have rehabilitation treatment. He still has a long way to go though!

David is a new immigrant from Brazil who also served as a combat soldier in the IDF.

Please pray for his complete recovery:
Refuah shleima le'Chaim David ben Ester

Israeli Arab advocate for Israel, Yoseph Haddad, meets with my friend Major Ella Waweya, who is the highest-ranked Muslim woman in the IDF, and speaks with the Israeli women proudly defending Israel while serving in the IDF.

Just to be clear, the IDF has always had women serving in it since before it's founding even. It is mandatory for women to serve also, this isn't some new woke concept.

An awesome song played at all religious weddings in Israel. My 6 year old son and I were just jumping around to this!

It is called "Tzama Lecha Nafshi" and it is sung by Roi harush & Itzik Orlev. There are endless remixes of it too but this is the original.

The song is originally a Chasidic tune that expresses longing and is one of the most well-known Chabad tunes taught by Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson and is based on words from Psalms 63:2,3 - https://www.sefaria.org.il/Psalms.63.2?lang=bi&with=all&lang2=he

The words mean: 'My soul thirsts for You, as my flesh thirsts for You"

Enjoy!

In yet another #BDSFail, US band OneRepublic are on stage right now in Israel.

Ahead of the show, Ryan Tedder says he admires Israeli culture, to which he developed a connection in his childhood, and while he understands the complexity of the conflict, he believes artists should prioritize their work over politics.
