⚛️ How to maximize airdrop eligibility in Cosmos ecosystem
New projects in the cosmos ecosystem often give airdrops to coin holders of other cosmos networks, in order to increase the chances of an airdrop there are several rules and recommendations:
1️⃣ Major Cosmos coins are $ATOM, $OSMO, $JUNO and $EVMOS. There are other coins, but for most airdrops, these 4 will be enough. It is advisable to stake at least 25 ATOM, 100 OSMO, 100 EVMOS, 50 JUNO
2️⃣ Provide liquidity on 🧪OsmosisZone with pairs ATOM/OSMO, USDC/OSMO and 🪙JunoSwap with pairs JUNO/ATOM
3️⃣ Don't delegate your tokens to centralized exchanges ( Binance, Kraken, OKX, Huobi). Very often stakers of centralized exchanges don't get airdrops
4️⃣ Don't delegate your tokens to validators with 0% comission
5️⃣ Vote on governance proposals. Some airdrops tend to reward active governance participants.

We all know that PoS blockchains can’t work without validators. But who are they and what exactly are they doing?
⚛️ Since Cosmos Hub is based on Tendermint (a blockchain protocol used to replicate and launch blockchain applications across machines), it relies on a set of validators, which participate in the consensus protocol by broadcasting votes that contain cryptographic signatures signed by each validator's private key.
In order to be in the active set (state when the validator is able to propose new blocks), each validator must stake tokens. They can either bond their own $ATOM or receive delegations from other ATOM holders.
The Cosmos Hub has 175 validators, but over time their number can be increased with governance proposals. Validators are determined by the amount of ATOM delegated to them. The top 175 validator candidates with the most voting power are the current Cosmos validators.
💰Validators and their delegators earn ATOM when the new block is created: the revenue consists of block provision and transaction fees. Validators are able to set their commission (from 0 to 100%) which applies to delegators revenue.
❌ If any validator violates the rules of the network by double signing or being offline for a long period of time, they go to jail, and their staked ATOM (including delegators) can be slashed.
