⚛️ GNO Land

Gnoland is a robust blockchain that provides concurrency and scalability with smart contracts programmed in Gno, a Go interpreter. It started as a fork of Tendermint, which will eventually become the official Tendermint2 💪

Gno aims to solve the lack of transparency and helps to build scalable smart contracts in a simpler way.

Gnoland has a native token called $GNOT and, as you probably know, there are some plans for the Airdrop. But what are the requirements for the claim?

GNOT tokens (67.5%) are going to be distributed for ATOM stakers, liquidity providers and holders.

People who voted “No with veto” on ATOM proposal #69 are said to have a more favorable allocation.

CEX wallets are not allowed. Jae Kwon (cofounder of Cosmos) clearly pointed it out in his Twitter post 👨‍💻

⚛️ Rebus airdrop rules update

📆 Airdrop date is being pushed back to 9/12 or 9/15, 6 days after Mainnet launch.

Rebus are going to increase the airdrop amount from 25M to 60M tokens. The token distribution rules are based on how much each blockchain has a positive impact on our project:

✅ Users that were staking $EVMOS on or before July 14th, 2022, will receive $REBUS based on the following rules:

Amount stake 100-199 EVMOS - 400 REBUS
200-499 EVMOS - 500 REBUS
500 or more EVMOS - 750 REBUS

✅ Users that were staking $OSMO on or before July 14th, 2022, will receive $REBUS based on the following rules:

Amount stake 100-199 OSMO - 400 REBUS

⚛️ How to maximize airdrop eligibility in Cosmos ecosystem

New projects in the cosmos ecosystem often give airdrops to coin holders of other cosmos networks, in order to increase the chances of an airdrop there are several rules and recommendations:

1️⃣ Major Cosmos coins are $ATOM, $OSMO, $JUNO and $EVMOS. There are other coins, but for most airdrops, these 4 will be enough. It is advisable to stake at least 25 ATOM, 100 OSMO, 100 EVMOS, 50 JUNO

2️⃣ Provide liquidity on 🧪OsmosisZone with pairs ATOM/OSMO, USDC/OSMO and 🪙JunoSwap with pairs JUNO/ATOM

3️⃣ Don't delegate your tokens to centralized exchanges ( Binance, Kraken, OKX, Huobi). Very often stakers of centralized exchanges don't get airdrops

4️⃣ Don't delegate your tokens to validators with 0% comission

5️⃣ Vote on governance proposals. Some airdrops tend to reward active governance participants.

6️⃣ Keep an eye on current airdrops regularly so you don't miss out. In this group we will publish all the news about current and upcoming airdrops

⚛️ Cosmos Hub

Cosmos Hub is how the whole Cosmos ecosystem started. It's the first blockchain that was created to connect thousands of others and eventually comprise the Cosmos Network.

Cosmos Hub native token is called $ATOM. If you own ATOM, than you are able to take part in the governance process.

You can delegate your tokens to validator (to any of 175 active validators) and start earning more ATOM.

💰There are many different wallets available to interact with Cosmos Hub and Cosmos ecosystem in general. Keplr is the most used one, but you are free to choose any other. Wallet allows you to send, receive and delegate ATOM, and also vote on the proposals.

‼️ If you use Cosmos ecosystem a lot and regularly take part in governance process, then you may be eligible for some airdrops. Many projects will reward you (Stride, Quicksilver, Neutron, Shade Protocol, DeFund - it's just a short list)

👮‍♂️ Who is validator?

We all know that PoS blockchains can’t work without validators. But who are they and what exactly are they doing?

⚛️ Since Cosmos Hub is based on Tendermint (a blockchain protocol used to replicate and launch blockchain applications across machines), it relies on a set of validators, which participate in the consensus protocol by broadcasting votes that contain cryptographic signatures signed by each validator's private key.

In order to be in the active set (state when the validator is able to propose new blocks), each validator must stake tokens. They can either bond their own $ATOM or receive delegations from other ATOM holders.

The Cosmos Hub has 175 validators, but over time their number can be increased with governance proposals. Validators are determined by the amount of ATOM delegated to them. The top 175 validator candidates with the most voting power are the current Cosmos validators.

💰Validators and their delegators earn ATOM when the new block is created: the revenue consists of block provision and transaction fees. Validators are able to set their commission (from 0 to 100%) which applies to delegators revenue.

❌ If any validator violates the rules of the network by double signing or being offline for a long period of time, they go to jail, and their staked ATOM (including delegators) can be slashed.
