First, I think they are both wrong. And they both sound so arrogant. Dustin's focus is really not on Jesus. From what I have seen and heard from him, he is just confusing everything. The promise of Jesus is throughout the Old Testament, right from the beginning in Genesis 3. Abraham was counted as righteous in God's eyes and through his line, Jesus would come. THAT is how "All nations will be blessed" Throughout the Old Testament, the Israelites (or Hebrews) constantly turned away from God to follow the false gods. Many of the stories and prophecies are about Israel being punished for it. But, nevertheless, Jesus would come through the line of David. Jesus fulfilled the law, which men cannot do. The Pharisees hated Him....He broke their man-made laws and traditions and He claimed to be God. This is what He was saying when He told them, "Before Abraham was, I AM." They were all expecting a Messiah ro come and conquer their enemies. He didn't come in the way they were expecting. He came to save the world first. They rejected Him...just like they were constantly rejecting God. Jesus' coming began a new covenant and it included everyone in the world, if they believe Him and what he did for us. The Old covenant was with Israel only. As for Paul, yes, he had been a pharisee. He was even persecuting and killing followers of Jesus until God intervened and he became a believer too. At the time, some believed they should follow the old ways and that any non Hebrew believer should also...such as the dietary laws, keeping the Sabbath, circumcision, etc. Paul set them straight on that...Jesus death, burial, and resurrection set everyone free...if they believe.

What could make Adam change his mind...at this point, I think only God Himself. We have freewill to believe or not. God made it very easy for us. But the "wise" see it as foolishness.
