When adding Trumps interview audio of 9/11 as he witnessed that faithful day from Trump Tower, the scene of Clamp takes a whole new meaning.
Clamps character is a combined parody of Trump & CNN founder Ted Turner which plays into the scene of Daniel Clamp playing “the end of the world” video which is similar to Ted Turners 1980 real "The Turner Doomsday video".
Ted Turner started CNN in 1980, first aired June 1st.
During this time we were still in the middle of The Cold War, & the possibility of the Soviet Union & USA striking each other with Nuclear Weapons might of fueled the reason for this tape incase such an emergency was to occur, a sign-off video as the world ended.
It was filmed in 1980 & wasn’t released to the public till early January 2015. Funny timing as that’s the year Trump would announce his presidential bid.
