Today, we're welcoming King Sans to the roster of clients of Discipline PR with their upcoming 'Sell A Cow' LP coming out August 21 via Dipterid Records 🔥

Musically, ‘Sell The Cow’ reaches well beyond the conventions of noise punk, drawing together harsh soundscapes, driving alternative rock, moments of striking melodic restraint, and occasional passages that hint at heavier and darker sonic territory. Built around themes of preserving humanity in an increasingly uncertain world, Sell The Cow explores resilience, connection, and the search for meaning through an uncompromising noise-punk lens.
Distorted guitars, fractured rhythms, and bursts of controlled chaos are offset by quieter passages and unexpected details, creating constant shifts in mood and texture. The track “Sold.”, for example, incorporates a piano passage written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, reflecting the band's approach to combining seemingly incompatible influences while maintaining a coherent musical identity.

Scatterbox features Tom White (vocals), Mark Cogburn (guitar), Ryan White (bass), Scott Rozell (drums), and Sean Nicol (guitar). The members of Scatterbox have also been part of Moral Crux, Green Jellÿ, Intifada, and Sterileprayer. Throughout their career, the band has remained rooted in the uncompromising spirit of hardcore punk, channeling the reckless speed and urgency of the genre’s formative years while avoiding mere nostalgia. Instead, Scatterbox combines vintage hardcore influences with a contemporary edge, embracing the sincerity, immediacy, and emotional honesty – an approach that reaches its fullest expression on Enemies.

Nearly two decades later, the band finally regained ownership of the original master tapes. They enlisted film and audio engineer Kaleb Wrenchey (Rings of Saturn, Fetish, Infrablaster) to completely reconstruct, remix, and remaster the album, resulting in a substantially reworked version that realizes the sound Scatterbox had envisioned from the beginning. The 2026 edition also marks the album's first-ever release on limited-edition red vinyl.

With its name inspired by a dream, 'October By Name' marks out a new chapter in the career of Kavus Torabi - a psychedelic polymath increasing stretching out his creativity via co-ordinates entirely of his own. This has been a decade so far in which his prolific artistry has only been matched by an equally turbulent period in his personal life. Yet the alchemical charge that has resulted matches the mystical origins of the album’s title with six songs that inhabit a similarly surreal and transcendental landscape. As Kavus reckons
"If you can’t trust your subconscious, who can you trust?”

Not merely a more optimistic and beatific sounding record than its cathartic and intense predecessor ‘The Banishing’, 'October By Name' sees Kavus evolving as an artist in ways he maybe didn’t even predict himself. Both inspired by his recent work with Gongand Cardiacs, and inhabiting a serious change of modus operandi via his work to date with the improvisational project The Utopia Strong, he created a new method of writing where all styles converge and overlap.

Today, we're stoked to welcome Kavus Torabi to our roster of clients, share the details on 'October By Name' AND the opening single - 'Water Into Wine'.

Today, we're excited to welcome Dead Neanderthals to our roster of clients and share the details on the upcoming release of 'Flesh Is Fragile'😮

Dead Neanderthals features Otto Kokke (synthesizer) and René Aquarius (drums, vocals). The duo’s sound resists a clear-cut genre framework, drawing on jazz, metal, noise, and drone without being confined to any of them. Experimentation has remained central to the band’s extensive discography, and Flesh is Fragile is no exception. On their new full-length, Dead Neanderthals take their sound in a darker, heavier, and stranger direction.
Flesh is Fragile also marks a shift toward shorter compositions. “Making these shorter songs was also a fun new process for us; trying to keep everything stripped down and compact was a challenge, but I think we succeeded,” notes Otto. René adds: “I also think we've pushed ourselves to be as concise as we needed to be with the songs, which has led to a really nice album flow.”

Another day - another exciting release to announce💥We're thrilled to reveal the details on the collaboration between COH and We Are Busy Bodies - 'IRON', originally released in 2000 is coming out on vinyl for the very first time having been remastered...

Originally released in 2000, Iron grew out of Ivan Pavlov's teenage fascination with heavy metal and the underground record-exchanging community of the late Soviet era. At fourteen, inspired by Iron Maiden's “Running Free,” he picked up a six-string guitar brought to him by his grandmother and decided that he and his friends could also play that kind of music. Before long, they were rehearsing in a Soviet youth club with whatever equipment was available, looking for the sound they heard in early heavy metal records.

“Iron could be seen as a symbolic tribute to the time when I was young, fearless, obsessed with forbidden music,”

explains Ivan.
“But aesthetically, I was approaching that music as an adult, and with interest and certain experience in electronic sound. What interested me was a particular range of mid-frequencies, the grain of the distorted guitar sound. On IRON, I was trying to isolate that grain, stripping away the rest - vocals, drums, cymbals, bass - to get a refined spectral slice of what I realize I love most about heavy metal. So, while emotionally the record looks back at youth and the excitement around the forbidden; sonically, it's an attempt to express what I find the essence of the sound on the records we exchanged.”

Kool Keith and Mike Redman are a perfect match when it comes to originality. They are both known for not following trends and this again shows on their upcoming album. What Keith does with words, Mike Redman does with his solid production. On ‘Sonic Psychosis’Keith is razor-sharp, Mike’s production is heavy, unorthodox and the use of sounds make you want to listen to the album over and over again just to discover something new each time you play it while bopping your head. Some tracks may remind you of Hip-Hop’s golden era, it’s also innovative and will definitely give Rap music a refreshing impuls. ‘Sonic Psychosis’ is already legendary because the title track features Kool Keith and Public Enemy frontman Chuck D for the first time on a track together! The album also features legendary artists DJ Shadow, Ras Kass, Mr Lif, Craig G, Young Zee, Trackstar the DJ (Run the Jewels), Del the Funky Homosapien, DJ Lord (PE/Cypress Hill), Killah Priest, Sadat X and many others.

Today, we're excited to announce our collaboration with Kool Keith and Mike Redman working on the radio-promotional part of their upcoming release...

Featuring special guest Ingo from German punk rock band, DONOTS, and with a huge earworm of a riff, this is The Meffs' biggest genre-crossover to date. Taken from Business out on FLG in September. Produced by SiKth guitarist, Dan Weller."

There are more systems than ever dedicated to figuring out exactly what you want. Every click, scroll, pause, and impulse is harvested, refined, and fed back to you in an endless cycle of hyper-targeted desire fulfillment. On their third album, 3, Ann Arbor's…
In a digital timespace stalked by the shifting, pixelating apex predator of Desire Optimization, fling ii concluded that a humble American neokrautrock n-gon of part-time participants lacked both the resources and domain expertise required to meaningfully compete with the Leviathan of Hypertargeted Urge Satisfaction. Rather than pursue what listeners supposedly want, they identified a marketable capability gap: creating things nobody asked for.
The result is 3, an album entirely diegetic to the experience of making itself — a self-contained reflection on process, intuition, and creative drift. A meta-expression of its own creation, the record functions as a purely inward-facing auto-response. An album for nobody in particular, or perhaps particularly for nobody.

With the team of We Are Busy Bodies, we're excited to share the details on the today's drop from fling ii...

Formed in the summer of 2025 as a group of like-minded friends, GASSED determined to create aggressive music rooted in ’80s hardcore punk, d-beat, and fastcore, with a strong emphasis on high-energy live performances. The band features Micha (vocals), Logan (guitar), Marcus (bass), and Mark (drums).

Each member brings their own perspective to the writing process but with the same end goal in mind. “
While we have a shared vision for the band, everybody brings their own style and inspiration, which really lends itself to creating something different.”

Mark, for his part, calls himself “the D-beat guy” while also citing artists outside hardcore – including Alanis Morissette, KISS, Warning, and Tom Waits – as important influences. Marcus, meanwhile, draws inspiration from Joe Lally, Matt Freeman, and Mike Watt in his bass playing as well as Neil Young because “he makes ugly sound beautiful” and all the music “that is full of lies but makes me feel honest.”

Within their signing to @uprisingmassive, we're excited to share that GASSEDwould release their debut LP, 'Mental' this October 6.
