Let our spirit run fearless and free, toward every dream we've been wishing for upon the stars. And the sweetest of all, may all our trials end in full bloom as we pray for this new year to be an eternal spring to all of us. Once again, Happy Chinese New Year, our lovely ones! The house has been, as always, full of laughter these past few days. To open the door was never a regret, and we are truly grateful that you chose to come. With cookbooks passed from hand to hand, tangerines shared across the table, and documents carefully mailed, we received far more than we ever thought we deserved.

The kitchen light has not dimmed since. The stove has stayed lit, steam slipping through the chimney, proof that we have spent countless nights together, preparing this menu especially for you.

Every table starts with one more, or two, perhaps even an extra spoon resting beside each plate. The food has always been warm, though the laughter could never seem loud enough. What we once shared, is now yours to take. ☕️

At last, what we can convey to our dearest Nibblers and Sous-Babies is... thank you, truly, for choosing to try your luck and step into our little house these past days. The door has been wide open, with laughter and hopeful wishes echoing from table to table, and you were part of that warmth! 🪔 Every form we received was like a handwritten recipe passed gently from hand to hand, and it all deserves their own appreciation more than we can properly put into words. If for now our paths don't align, please don't take it as a closed door! Perhaps, it is simply a matter of timing, of seats still being arranged and seasons finding their wind. We are deeply grateful you trusted us enough to try, to sit at our table, to share your name with us. Should another opportunity come, we would be more than happy to welcome you again with the same warmth, the same lit stove, and maybe—just maybe—a better timing waiting for all of us! We love you equally, and our prayers for you to eat well & live well will always linger around every step you made. ♥︎

Our menu just got a fresh little glow-up! And yes, it’s been lovingly seasoned with the brand new spices brought by our newest Diners, yippie! So go on, take a little peek at it… just a small one… we promise we won’t bite. (Okay maybe a little....) And if—hypothetically speaking—one of them steals your heart straight off the plate… well, that sounds like a booking situation, doesn’t it? ;0 And if that happens (which… we kinda hope it does), come find Mamaobei & Papachan through @DiningOutBot! WAAAAIT, don’t go yet! There’s more! It’s just.... happy (VERY fashionably late) March, Nibblers & Diners! Yes yes, we know, it’s already the 6th, hehehe... :guilty_grin: Please forgive the delay, the teapots in our kitchen have been committing crimes over here. 🫖

But! Mamaobei did a tiny tarot pull for the table earlier… just for fun, don’t take this very seriously. And guess who decided to show up? The High Priestess! Very mysterious of her! Very “I know something you don’t know.” ;p So maybe that’s the little March energy for all of us: trust your gut, notice the quiet signs, and follow whatever softly tugs at your heart. Who knows… it might lead you right back to our table. 🥧

And before we scurry back into the kitchen for real this time, allow us to use this chance to spread the awareness of what our friends in SWANA (South West Asia & North Africa) currently have been fighting for in the name of their ever so dearest lives. We may not be able to arrange a proper board of informations currently, like we usually tried to, but we would love to offer a pathway to (https://helpourpeople.carrd.co) for a better view of what’s going on. March may be exciting with the upcoming celebrations like the peaceful Day of Silence, the patience of Ramadhan, & the shared joy of Eid Al-Fitr, but it’s really nothing if our family’s continuously oppressed on the other side of the world. In this house, Dining Studio declares that we’re always standing at the right side of humanity & against genocides towards the innocent. 🩶🕊

There is something sacred about the kind of superhuman patience shown in women everyday: (1) who keep going, (2) who carry love, grief, courage, and hope all in the same heart, (3) who carry storms in her bones and still choose to bloom, often where the world thought nothing could.

Aaaftie, our dearest Nibblers & Diners! 🤍 This week’s been pretty special, with so many meaningful moments happening all at once. For those who observed Hari Nyepi yesterday, we hope the day of silence gave you some peace and space to breathe, and that all the patience and faith you carried comes back to you tenfold! And for our friends celebrating Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr, whether you’re starting your Fitr today already or just in the process of finishing your fasting journey, we’re wishing you nothing but a celebration full of warmth, joy, and well-deserved blessings. Keep this love of ours close to your heart wherever you go, pass it along to the next doors or just put it in jar on your kitchen island—we really don’t mind, long as the love stays with you everytime you think of us!
