این امشاسپند نماینده توانایی و شهریاری مینوی اهورامزدا و در زمین نگاهبان و سرپرست فلزات است. و از جشن آتش‌های خانگی محسوب می شود. مردم در خانه‌ها آتش می‌افروزند و ستایش خداوند و شکر نعمت‌های او می‌گزارند. در خانه‌ها اغلب میهمانی برپا کرده و خوراک‌های متنوع و ویژه تدارک می بینند و به مناسبت تغییر هوا شب هنگام در بام‌ها نیز آتش می‌افروزند
