Own the decisions

Don’t outsource critical thinking to AI. Have it execute a plan, but don’t ask it to write the plan for you.

When you give away control, you’re the redundant part of the equation. And the result has nothing unique in it.

If you get it you get it 😅

Have a great Day ❤️

Day 079 of self improvement { Not Using AI challenge😢 }

A day that passed through confusions and some annoying bugs today I was Challenging my self like not using AI for debugging and and I refused to let the AI do heavy lifting ,
but it's really really hard and I wondered how peoples used Stack Overflow official documentation, and Google (without AI assistance like nowadays) and things like that before this AI era.

Anyway, I’m still learning Props and State in React. Still pushing through.

Knowing that if I keep going, one day it will pay off.
I don't know when, but I know that it will happen.
Or I'll die trying xD

This is not a random motivational speech but it is What I tell to My self everyday:

Don't stop.
Don't be shamed.
Don't be afraid to try.
Don't be afraid to fail.
Don't be afraid do all of the above things again and again.

Have a great Day ❤️

Day 080 of self improvement

Reviving after stressful exams and getting back to learning React (hooks).

But lemme tell you something… these past few days I wasted a lot of time just because of that “exam is finished” feeling. I thought I deserved to chill, but it went too far. I drained my energy scrolling on X, watching YouTube podcasts, hanging out with friends…
And after all that? I just felt regret. Blaming myself, overthinking, even doing unnecessary things like isolating myself.
So here’s the lesson:
staying busy with your goals is actually better. That “chill mode” can easily take over and keep extending itself, and before you know it, you’re spending more and more time just enjoying instead of building.

Not productive weekend fr 😑
If you’re a student and not using this yet, you’re seriously missing out.

Did you know your institutional email gives you up to 2TB of Google Drive storage? 🤯

I just found out it today and If you think about it, that’s roughly 136× more storage than a normal Google account.

Imagine the projects, backups, courses, videos… all in one place without worrying about space.

Day 081 of self improvement

Today was all about playing around with APIs .. especially RESTful APIs.

I explored different public APIs and mainly worked with Google APIs like Maps, YouTube, and Weather.

I’ll be finishing my mini app practice on this tomorrow… step by step, building real stuff

@Digital_grind
The process is the most difficult and will be the most rewarding part of my journey
Have a great Day ❤️

Planning too many things in the morning:
work, reading, coding, class, meetings and so on...ending the day with nothing done has been draining me. I’ve realized this pattern is ruining my life

So I’m changing my approach from now on:

Focus on one thing at a time.

Have a great Day ❤️

One another bad habit is checking social media before work 😅

Like… instead of going straight to work, we tell ourselves “let me just check what’s going on” and then come back.
But let’s be honest 🙂 we never come back the same.
That small “check” turns into un necessary distractions … drains our energy, our focus, and our fresh, pure mind.
It’s mostly FOMO (Fear of Missing Out).
But what are you really missing? Nothing important.

So, I know it's really hard but from now on:
The moment you sit at your table, don’t touch your phone.
Open your laptop and go straight to work.

Day 082 of self improvement

I’m preparing to go all in on project building.
Not just learning languages anymore , it’s time to actually build.
Today was focused on algorithmic thinking:
Solving basic problems in JavaScript and revising some useful JS concepts.

For the next 10 days, I’ll be doing a quick revision of what I’ve learned so far. So I can start applying it in real projects

Tbh What A productive day @ AbrehotLibrary 👌
Don’t listen to everyone.
Watch what they do, not what they say.

Because in the end, actions prove everything.
Have a great Day ❤️

Day 083 of self improvement

Continued working on algorithmic thinking by solving some cool DSA questions—just keeping my fundamentals sharp.

This weekend alone, I solved around 15 problems, which feels like solid progress.

Next step: revisiting servers, async JavaScript, and related concepts before going all-in on project building.

Let’s keep the momentum going 🚀
