They are building an AI data center in my town. I’ve been curious about it so I decided to check it out.

I found it and talked with someone there. Here’s what I learned about this one:

It is cooled by air and antifreeze not water. Only water use is from bathrooms etc.
It does use a lot of electricity but he said it would eventually turn over to electricity from the “air!”

I was told today that the taxes they will pay and taxes etc on the power will pay most of the property taxes for us.

Not the school tax but the property. I asked about the noise and was told the only noise would come from generators IF the power goes out.

It sounds like a win!
