President Trump has appointed former Attorney General Pam Bondi to the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, the White House AI panel.
Bondi will be tasked with facilitating coordination between the federal government and the major tech companies serving on the panel.
The council is chaired by David Sacks and Michael Kratsios and includes executives such as Nvidia co-founder Jensen Huang, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison.
In addition, Bondi has been named to a newly established advisory role focused on national infrastructure.
Vice President JD Vance welcomed the move - describing Bondi as an “enormously valuable asset” who will remain involved in addressing the administration’s most important challenges.
Bondi was diagnosed with thyroid cancer shortly after departing the Justice Department last month.
She underwent treatment and is now recovering.
