SITE: NORTHSTAR – GREENLAND
Site Northstar is a subterranean research and containment complex buried more than 2 kilometers beneath Greenland’s ice shelf. Publicly listed as a “climate monitoring station,” it is in fact one of the most classified installations ever constructed.
Satellite records show no surface structures. All access is performed via vertical ice shafts concealed beneath artificial glacier formations.
No official government has acknowledged its existence.
