After about a week stay in the hospital, the doctors had figured it out. I had hodgkin's lymphoma, which at the time I had never even known about. I had to put my life on hold and dive deep into the realm of cancer treatment. For around 6 months, I was going to treatment regularly and showing good signs of improvement . . . After treatment ended, it seemed like my case had been successful. We started monitoring with regular scans to see if anything came back. I went back to working full time, but some of the scans were showing some concerning signs as time went on.
Just last week I received news that the hodgkin's lymphoma is back. I'm looking at starting up more treatment, with the potential to need a stem-cell transplant"
