I’ve applied a very basic principle my entire adult life: if I can’t trust someone in one area, then I won’t subscribe to the fantasy I can trust them with anything else either.

My stance on Ukraine has very little to do with them or Russia. I won’t go to war for anything less than defense of country or constitution because our leaders can’t be trusted. The SECDEF and chairman have demonstrated they’re incapable of being honest. They’ve broken the law multiple times over, they’ve made complicit the commanders underneath them, and I don’t believe for one second they wouldn’t do it again and again if it served their individual agendas. They are not acting in the best interest of this nation or their oaths.

Their actions are unilaterally in step with the military defense industry. They don’t even try to hide their blatant submission to big corporations’ desire for war. I mean, the SECDEF is still earning money from Raytheon shares because he’s failed to divest his stocks as promised; c’mon….😑

After decades of lying to congress about Afghanistan, while simultaneously spending trillions and having no achievable end state, they abandoned thousands of our countrymen and women in Afghanistan. Then, in a desire to show force after our troops were killed trying to clean up their mess, they executed an aid worker and his family and tried to cover it up.

Now they say national sovereignty in Ukraine is critical to democracy. Nm OUR national sovereignty as they’ve opened wide the flood gates of our southern borders. That country they said all last year wasn’t important, after we found out Hunter Biden had sold his daddy’s office to the highest bidder, is suddenly important enough for you and I to go die for. No; no, no, no….

I won’t put my life on the line for more war profiteering. I won’t watch as my country is handed over to the highest bidder, our military is decimated under illegal pretense, then go over seas and fight in a war these foolish politicians in and out of uniform allowed to reach this point. Do what you want, but I won’t go.
