One of my favorite things about the whole fat people matter movement is that they stuck with the word fat instead of some other gayer nicer sounding thing like “obese” or “heavy” or “plus sized.”
So let me get this straight:
It’s impolite to call a gay person a faggot or a Sodomite,
it’s impolite to call a transgender a tranny or a eunuch
it’s impolite to call black person a jogger
But I can call overweight people fat?
I love it

I saw this article posted on /pol/ and got sucked in, very interesting explanation of our supply chain issues.
TL;DR: the problems food supply chains are facing are in large part due to the farm-to-restaurant flow path being underutilized (all the packing/processing/storing facilities) during COVID, and the subsequent ramp up in demand from the farm-to-grocery store flow path (different packing/processing/storing facilities) which was already operating at 100% capacity before the increase in demand from COVID. All of this affected the US’s food surplus storage systems, and resulted in farmers culling/blading over animals and plants this past harvest.
Still TL;DR: we haven’t seen anything yet
