Oh boy here I go jpilling again
Discernment is a gift to man from God through the Holy Spirit, but using this gift requires faith in Christ and understanding the Word of God.
Christ discusses discernment between good and evil in the gospels using a metaphor of the fruit born by trees:
Matthew 7:15-20: (Words of Jesus) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (KJV)
Christ also discusses the importance of understanding the Word of God using a parable about sowing seeds as recorded in the gospels of Matthew 13:3-9, Mark 4:1-9, and Luke 8:4-8. He explains the parable to his disciples on the beach in Matthew 13:19-23. The gist can be got from just part of verse 19 (words of Jesus):
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart…
(KJV)
The way I think of discernment is two-tiered. Firstly, one must have faith in Christ and read and understand the Bible. This discernment will be challenged by false prophets, intentional subversion (various translations of the Bible, etc.), and even good-intentioned shepherds who lack understanding.
Only through this gift of discernment of the Word and will of God can we achieve the second discernment: that of a tree by its fruits. Without the correct frame of reference bolstered by the Word of God, our perception of whether or not a fruit and therefore the tree that bore it is evil or good is clouded and may lead us astray.

While talking to a good friend on our side, I had a pretty big epiphany.
Once a white nationalist-curious white guy makes it past the gatekeepers, our side of the conversation is the Wild West. There’s no natural progression beyond Ben Shapiro -> Alex Jones -> Nick Fuentes. After that, it’s a bunch of non-funded white nationalists with families who can’t afford to divulge their identities, and who are so far past the JQ that they hardly discuss it.
So in essence, someone who has just begun to ask themselves the JQ will find basically one of these options:
1. Schizos on /pol/
2. White Nationalist political groups that don’t go far enough in their discussion of the JQ
3. Schizo conspiracy enjoyers on telegram
4. 45th Division caliber dudes who are off-putting but informative
5. Pagan white-identitarians
Is there something I’m missing? Do we have an onboarding program that I haven’t heard of? I think this may be an obstacle we have to overcome.

Tonight, I read and prayed on these chapters. I recommend you read them in full, but a few things stuck out to me; Psalm 2 speaks of the strength God provides to us when we ask in faith and wisdom, when we serve the LORD with fear. Proverbs 2 speaks about wisdom, that when we seek it again in faith and fear, God gives us understanding and knowledge. These things He uses to protect us, His saints. This goes hand in hand with discernment, which keeps us form the beguiling ways of the wicked men and and powers of the earth.
Finally, in John 1, we are told that those who BELIEVE in His name (the name of God, Jehovah Jesus Christ) are granted the power to become sons of God. We are then born not of flesh or of the world, but of God. (There is so much more here, but this is what stuck out to me)
See, nothing will come to us, not wisdom or strength, without repentance and belief fully in the name of Jesus Christ. When we turn from our wickedness and are born again of God, we will conquer the kings of this world in His name, we will resist the temptations of evil, and we will be sons of God that will not see the second death, but have eternal life.
God bless you all as you start your week, begin and end each day with Him. Amen.

Psalm 2:8-12 KJV "...Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him."
Proverbs 2: 6-12 KJV "For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;"
John 1: 12-14 KJV " But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
