BLACK SWAN

To put it bluntly, A ‘black swan’ is an event that is unprecedented in its severity. It is an event so big that it changes the entirety of mankind’s perspective. These events are categorized by their extreme rarity and catastrophic impacts to world economies and cannot be predicted by any standard models. Black swans by definition are completely unpredictable, at least that’s what we are told to believe and think today. Nevertheless some have come to believe over the years that the ‘black swan’ events are actually more than just predictable and are run in cycles which consist of around 90 years. In other words, it is thought that the humans will make the same mistake at 90 year increments and that the history will repeat itself no matter what you do.
Here are just a few cycles that were witnessed over the last few centenials:
1776 — The Revolutionary War
1864 — The Civil War
1945 — World War II
The Stock Market collapse which resulted in The Great Depression was roughly 90 years ago as well, and the upcoming devaluation of the world currencies that has already started globally is just the beginning and is reminiscent of the great transformation of wealth that occurred 90/92 years ago.
When was the last time you went to a coffee shop as was able to purchase a $0.50 Coffee in the morning or were able to get a $0.50 gallon of milk? Today, currencies are already being devalued at an alarming rate as they become worthless. This is and will result in the collapse of the world economies, rise of the Gold, precious metals and virtual currencies to unprecedented highs as people turn towards ‘things’ that are backed by more than just the government’s word.
