This fixed vantage point enables high-frequency imaging over the same geographic expanse acting as a 'Eye in the Sky' for the country during Day Time Hours.
The satellite can capture full-disk images of the Indian Subcontinent every 30 minutes and focus on selected target areas every 5 minutes.

GISAT-2 will be a dedicated Satellite launched by ISRO for the Indian Navy to track the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) even during the Night with high Optical Sensors for Night Vision providing round the clock monitoring and surveillance of the region.

Current vehicle (GSLV) capacity is 2250 kg to GTO. Not expected to improve further.
On TLP status: Completed design phase, realization phase to begin soon
EOS-05 expected mission life is 7 years confident it will perform for 9 years.
By 9 September orbit raising phase of EOS-05 will be done. After that the on-orbit checking will take a month. In two months it'll be fully operational.
On concerns related to SLC operations and management being handed over to pvt. sector
Concerns are genuine but we there to handhold them to make that program successful.
