India will announce the final details of its Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA) with the United States only after Washington agrees to offer preferential tariff terms over India's competitors, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said today

Dutch central bank moves gold bars out of U.S. and Canada, citing ‘crisis preparedness’

The relocation and transfer of Gold took place between March to August.

KEY POINTS-

The Dutch central bank has moved about 86 metric tons of gold from New York and Ottawa to London, citing rising geopolitical risks and the need to strengthen "crisis preparedness."

DNB said gold stored with the Bank of England is more readily tradable, allowing it to be deployed more quickly in a severe crisis.

The move comes as gold prices surge and follows France's decision to replace 129 metric tons of gold held in New York with bullion bought in Europe.
