🚨Tata Advanced Systems, Pixxel, Agnikul among 13 companies in fray for AssamSat

The Assam government is evaluating proposals from 13 companies, including Tata Advanced Systems, Bharat Electronics Ltd and space tech startups Pixxel and Agnikul Cosmos, for its planned Earth observation satellite system.

According to official records reviewed by Moneycontrol, the companies have been marked "Admitted-Fee/PreQual/Technical/Finance" in the bid-opening records. This indicates that they have cleared the listed stages of the evaluation process.

India has run a current account deficit in 22 of 23 years. Since 2020 it has absorbed five external shocks - a pandemic, a supply-chain crunch, a European war, a tariff wave and a Gulf war - and the deficit has not once passed 2.4%.
