Europe has emerged as the top destination for India’s electric car shipments in Q1 FY26, with over 83% of EV exports going westward.

Spain and the UK led the surge, accounting for 35.6% and 25.2% of India’s EV exports to Europe.

Maruti Suzuki’s eVitara drove much of this, with 97% share of India’s EV exports in Q1 and over 41,000 units shipped to 47 countries.
