INDIA-CHINA FACE-OFF IN ARUNACHAL PRADESH IN JULY

♦️Late July: Indian and Chinese patrol parties came face-to-face near Taksing village in Arunachal Pradesh’s Upper Subansiri district, adjoining the Tibet–China region

♦️ The face-off occurred around 2.5 km inside the LAC

♦️ Both sides followed the banner protocol, asserting their claim over the area, after which the Chinese patrol withdrew

♦️ The Chinese returned in early August, amid the latest border tensions.

♦️ The MEA said the state of the border will reflect the state of India-China ties.

The existing facility currently produces 15 crore rounds of ammo annually and aims to double output, start medium-calibre ammo production by 2027, and scale grenade production to 8 million units by 2029. #Defence

Tata Group’s battery company Agratas has developed its own LFP battery technology in-house.

LFP batteries are cheaper, safer, and don’t need cobalt or nickel, making them ideal for mass-market EVs.

This move comes after China imposed export restrictions on battery materials and technology.
