From 2004โ€“2014, many emerging economies rode a favourable global cycle to rapid growth.

India, despite operating in a relatively stable international environment interrupted mainly by the 2008 financial crisis, failed to translate its demographic and economic potential into economic leadership.

From 2014โ€“2026, India emerged as the G20's fastest-growing major economy while navigating a far more turbulent world shaped by the pandemic, inflation, fractured supply chains and geopolitical conflicts.

The "lost decade" was not defined by difficult global conditions.

It was defined by India's inability to convert a favourable global environment into sustained economic leadership.

The following decade demonstrated that stronger leadership can deliver high growth even in an era of persistent global disruption. #Economy

A very important aspect on why universities breed bad ideas across the world , specially the humanities segment come up with horrible ideas.
Professor Gad Saad Explains beautifully here.
George Orwell said "it takes an intellectual to come up with truly stupid ideas". When academics are disconnected from reality or accountability, bad ideas spread like parasites. While STEM professionals have to answer for their mistakes, humanities professors build theories that no one ever has to test. That lack of accountability is exactly how toxic ideas take over a university and eventually a culture. If these professors can't survive the scrutiny of their own ideas, should they be teaching our children?

This is exactly why India should tread with extreme cautious regarding allowing these subversive curriculum and ideas in universities.
