FCAS – A Joint Project between France, Germany & Spain to develop a 6th Generation Jet was closed down in June 2026 due to years of infighting between French Dassault and European Airbus.

France is now moving forward solo on this Project, so the MoD Statement means this could be a joint France-India Project. Nothing clear on the topic yet.

Belagavi-based Aequs Aerospace SEZ has signed a 15-year contract with Safran Landing Systems to manufacture Airbus A320 wheels entirely in India, covering forging, machining, and assembly.
