IndiGo announces 20,000 free domestic tickets to celebrate 20 years of service.

As part of its 'Happy IndiGo Day' campaign, called IndiGoFree, the airline will refund the fare paid by selected customers, up to Rs 10,000 per PNR, for eligible domestic bookings made between August 4 and August 6, 2026. [One Ticket per person]

The offer is available only on bookings made through IndiGo's direct channels, including its website, mobile app and AI virtual assistant, 6Eskai.

Mid-air nightmare! Air India plane plunges 300 feet, 15 hurt, cabin crew injured, DGCA to investigate Phuket-Delhi fight.


Air India flight AI2379, operating from Phuket to Delhi on 4 August, experienced a brief turbulence-related event during cruise, resulting in a momentary change in altitude.


The aircraft landed safely in Delhi. All passengers and crew have disembarked safely. There are no serious injuries reported.

A small number of passengers and crew members sustained minor injuries and were taken to the airport medical facility for precautionary examination and care. Air India’s team is providing full support to those affected

Union Cabinet approved the ₹9,800 crore Sudhmahadev–Dranga and Singhpora–Vailoo tunnel projects on NH-244 in Jammu & Kashmir.
