Goa police made at least 2 protesters from a July 24 Mapusa solidarity protest fill a 240-question form asking things like "What is your understanding of the words 'Free Umar Khalid'...?", "Did you criticise any govt authority during your address?", "Who financed the banners?", and "Did you post placard photos on social media?".

The complaint came from 'Citizens of Mapusa'. CM Pramod Sawant called the Khalid slogans at a NEET paper-leak protest "anti-national" and said police would act to protect communal harmony.

Sales of 100-octane ethanol-free premium petrol have more than doubled recently amid E20 fuel fears, led by Delhi. Users worry about vehicle damage and 3-5% lower mileage from ethanol blends.

The fuel costs ~57% more than regular petrol (₹160 in Delhi, ₹167.35 in Mumbai), sells at <1% of stations, and targets high-performance vehicles. The government plans no revival of E0/E10 and expects demand to ease once E20 concerns subside. #Automobile

Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari informed Rajya Sabha that BS-III vehicles made between 2005-2016 may need some rubber parts and gaskets replaced when using E20 petrol, but studies by IOCL, ARAI and others show no major impact on overall vehicle performance.

The names of 14 countries are – Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan (Arab States) and Pakistan, Egypt and Turkiye.

Bangladesh, Nigeria, Sudan, Djibouti, Maldives and Yemen (Saudi backed PLC Government) are also part of the Group.
