DRDO is developing a satellite based real time target identification systems for ships in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) using AI-ML algorithms. Ships will be identified by using imagery, thermal, wake & SAR signatures. The data generated will be fed to the Navy's IFC-IOR network.
