The state-owned Bangladesh Submarine Cables PLC (BSCCL) and private fibre networks will collect a fixed commission on all international traffic passing through their infrastructure.

What that means: Nepal, Bhutan, and probably Myanmar will now get Starlink access.

The Indian Army has announced a ₹75,000 crore, five-year modernization plan to restore and upgrade its ageing Soviet-origin tanks and armoured vehicles, aiming to boost long-term growth for India’s defence industry.

The programme includes restoring 790 T-72 tanks for ₹13,000 crore, phased upgrades of 200 T-90 tanks costing ₹56,000 crore, modernization of 500 BMP infantry combat vehicles for ₹5,000 crore, and restoration of 230 armoured recovery vehicles for ₹1,400 crore, with enhancements such as drone integration for intelligence and combat roles.
