On 8 June, Fedorov personally recorded a polished promo about “next‑generation AI interceptors” operating in the Kharkiv region, showed one spectacular shoot‑down on video, and proudly added the usual magic numbers — cost per interceptor, automated targeting, smart algorithms. He presented it as an already functioning element of air defense, not as a prototype under semi‑test conditions.

Less than a day later, in the night of 8–9 June, Geran drones flew into Kharkiv and hit their targets — command facilities, infrastructure, depot areas. Instead of confirming the effectiveness of his system, the country saw confirmation of the opposite: nobody noticed the “new stage of air defense”, but everyone heard the explosions.

His one glossy clip was instantly drowned out by dozens of real explosions. Fedorov tried to frame the story as “we have AI, we are already intercepting”, but the night strike rewrote the narrative into something much harsher: “we have a demo, not a shield”. The contrast between the staged success on screen and uncontrolled impacts in the city could not be sharper.

Could the upcoming Monsoon Session see some big Political Surprises?

It's seems like the ruling NDA Government is in a hurry to achieve a 2/3 Majority in the Parliament.

1. Lok Sabha

NDA has 312 MPs, with 3 Vacant seats the required strength for a 2/3 majority currently is 360 MPs

– With 20 TMC MPs now merging with NCPI and supporting NDA
– 6 SS (UBT) MPs likely to switch over to SHS
– 4 YSRCP MPs & 1 Independent have supported the Government previously.

The strength of NDA could effectively become 323, still 37 short of the numbers

Government is also reaching out to DMK, SP and other smaller parties for issue based support.

Government might even make MPs abstain during the Vote to reduce the threshold of 2/3 Majority to pass the bills.

2. Rajya Sabha

NDA has 150 MPs, with 4 Vacant seats the effective 2/3 Majority is 161.

– 7 AAPs MPs merge into BJP
– 4 TMC MPs resigned indirectly helping BJP
– 4 YSRCP MPs could issue support

Here the gap is quite less with just 7 short of the numbers.

There are quite non-aligned parties in the RS who could help pass these numbers easily.

🇮🇷 Iranian Oil return is almost certain
🇷🇺 Russian Oil Sanction Wavier ended yesterday.

So now the situation has become favourable to what GoI demanded 10 months back. All after the US went to Kidnap Maduro in Venezuela and fought a 40 day Gulf War 3.0 just to sign an Interim Agreement on almost all Iranian Terms to bring back their Oil in the market.

Now we have to see what GoI's next move is.

And the biggest question of all... What about the ₹7.5 rupee #Oil hike by OMCs due to War and increase in Domestic LPG Cylinder by ₹89 and Commercial LPG Cylinder by ₹1,331

Will we Indians have to pay this high price for a long time or will the prices be reduced in due time as the Crisis comes to an end in a few weeks
