🔥 🔥 Andhra Pradesh-based AnduraX is preparing India's first high-altitude drop test for its reusable spaceplane, aiming for an orbital re-entry mission by 2028.

The ADM-01 (ARES Drop Mission 1) test, scheduled for the first week of June, will drop an experimental vehicle from a high-altitude balloon at 25,000 metres to simulate near-stratospheric conditions.

The goal is to collect data for developing guidance, navigation, control systems, and precision landing capabilities for the ARES reusable re-entry vehicle.

IIT Madras is powering the future of maritime innovation with the launch of its advanced Circulating Water Tunnel Facility at the Discovery Campus in Thaiyur, Chennai. Built with ₹4.5 crore CSR support from Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL), the facility will strengthen indigenous research in ship design, hydrodynamics and ocean engineering.

The state-of-the-art facility will support experimental studies involving ship models, propellers, offshore systems, underwater structures and marine vehicles, while offering hands-on learning opportunities for students and researchers. #Research

Supreme Court has invoked its powers under Article 142 of the Constitution and issued binding directions to all High Courts to curb delays in the pronouncement of judgments.

A bench led by CJI Surya Kant directed all High Courts to pronounce reserved judgments within three months. It ordered courts to deliver bail orders on the same day or, if reserved, on the next day.

The Court also directed immediate communication of regular bail orders to trial courts and said undertrial prisoners granted bail should be released the same day, subject to formalities.

All judgments once pronounced must be uploaded on High Court websites within 24 hours, the Court observed.

Ashwini Vaishnaw announced Friday that the Odisha government, Intel, and 3DGS signed an MoU to bring substrate manufacturing technology to India. Vaishnaw stated on X, "Congratulations to the Govt. of Odisha, Intel and 3DGS on signing an MoU to bring substrate manufacturing technology to India.

This will further advance semiconductor ecosystem in India." The agreement aims to strengthen India's semiconductor ecosystem, expand domestic chip manufacturing, and build a complete electronics supply chain.
