India-based drone startup Airbound has unveiled a lightweight autonomous drone with vertical takeoff and airplane-like forward flight capabilities.

Built using carbon fiber composites, the 2.5 kg drone can carry nearly 1 kg payload while maintaining efficient and stable flight.

It can cruise at around 60 km/h and cover distances of up to 40 km using its autonomous electric-powered system.

The project was started by a 15-year old boy Naman Pushp during Covid. #Drones
