🛑 FACT CHECK: Morphed Video of Delhi Brigadier Assault
CLAIM: A Morphed News18 report posted by an Pakistani account claims an Indian Army Brigadier was beaten by a mob for criticizing "Operation Sindoor"
REALITY: The video has been morphed with a fake voiceover.
The Actual Incident: On April 11, 2026, Brigadier Parminder Singh Arora and his son were assaulted in South Delhi for a completely different reason.
They had politely asked two men to stop drinking alcohol in a parked Mercedes outside their home.
The Attackers: The drunk men called 7–8 associates who arrived and beat the officer and his son.
Operation Sindoor: This has no connection to the assault. The claims about "Intelligence Officers" and "government criticism" were fabricated by Pakistani propaganda accounts to spread disinformation.
The incident was a case of assault following an objection to public drinking. The video used is a morphed version of a News18 report where the audio and context have been replaced to spread disinformation

Tamil Nadu currently has 39 seats. If delimitation was done solely on the basis of the 2011 Census, it would have had 49 seats. But as per the GOI’s formula of increasing the shares of all states proportionately and by 50%, it will now have 59 seats.
2. Kerala currently has 20 seats. If delimitation was done solely on the basis of the 2011 Census, it would have had 23 seats. But as per the GOI’s formula of increasing the shares of all states proportionately and by 50%, it will now have 30 seats.
3. Andhra Pradesh currently has 25 seats. If delimitation was done solely on the basis of the 2011 Census, it would have had 33 seats. But as per the GOI’s formula of increasing the shares of all states proportionately and by 50%, it will now have 37 seats.
